By Sports Network - The Sports Network The New York Yankees are making moves to reach the postseason for a 14th consecutive season. How they fare against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim over the next few weeks may go a long way in determining if that happens. The Yankees have yet to play the Angels this season, but will face them 10 times the rest of the way. However, seven of those contests will be contested in the Bronx, starting with tonight's opener of a four-game series at Yankee Stadium. New York should have its newest addition in the lineup this evening, as catcher Ivan Rodriguez is expected to be behind the plate. With Jorge Posada sidelined for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury, the Yankees went out and acquired the 14-time All-Star from Detroit for reliever Kyle Farnsworth on Wednesday.
