Hong Kong thrash Qatar by 176 runs

Offspinner Tauqir Ali took 4 for 19 to set up UAE's eight-wicket win over Bahrain at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur. With Bahrain bowled out for 122, UAE needed only 28 overs to wrap the game and openers Mohammad Iqbal and Arshad Ali paved the way with a 64-run partnership. Bahrain had reached 91 for 2 in the 19th over when Tauqir removed Abdul Waheed for eight. Bahrain never recovered from there and next four wickets fell for 18 runs. Imran Sajjad was their top scorer with 47; only two other batsmen made it to double figures. Hong Kong scored a massive 176-run win over Qatar after their bowlers chipped in with the runs and the wickets at the Selangor Turf Club in Kuala Lumpur.
