Palmdale to host free grant-writing workshop

The city of Palmdale will host a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Center for Faith Based & Community Initiatives grant writing training workshop from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday, July 28, and Tuesday, July 29, at the Larry Chimbole Cultural Center, 38350 Sierra Highway in Palmdale. Admission is free and registration is required to attend. Participants from community-based-organizations will receive instruction from Los Angeles HUD staff members and partnering organizations on how to grow their organizations to become more competitive in securing grant resources.
