In the past six weeks, the U.S. has sent a number of unmistakable signals to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of its willingness to negotiate a broad range of issues, all within the context of resolving the main issue of Iran's nuclear weapons capability. Iran has responded to some of these signals.
