KUALA LUMPUR: National men’s singles ace Wong Choong Hann and top women’s doubles shuttler Wong Pei Tty have the same wish as they await today’s badminton draw for the Beijing Olympic Games. They are keeping their fingers crossed that do not meet China’s shuttlers in the first round. Choong Hann, who will be unseeded for the first time in his third Olympic outing, is hoping to avoid a first-round encounter with the world’s most feared shuttler – Lin Dan. “Lin Dan is the toughest shuttler to play against,” said the 31-year-old Choong Hann. “I just hope that I will not be drawn to meet him in the first round.
