Dallas Cowboys to release Glenn but keep options open

By TODD ARCHER / The Dallas Morning News tarcher@dallasnews.com OXNARD, Calif. - After months of haggling, the Dallas Cowboys decided Friday to part ways with veteran receiver wide Terry Glenn but not necessarily close the door. The Cowboys will release Glenn, but should his conditioning improve, the team would like to revisit the possibility of bringing him back in the fold at some point. Of course, Glenn would also have the chance to sign with another team. "We will see what's down the road when we have a chance to go through the whole preseason," said Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones. "If things go like we hope for Terry and like we hope for us, then you've got another decision to look at."
