Scandal Grows At County Housing Authority

A News 4 Trouble Shooters investigation has uncovered explosive, new information surrounding a scandal at the Housing Authority of Bexar County. The head of the Housing Authority of Bexar County, Laura Morales, was fired Thursday night. And by Friday, she was at the center of a widening criminal investigation being conducted by Bexar County's district attorney and the FBI. The News 4 Trouble Shooters learned Morales, who helps low-income families get a home, paid herself about $150,000 more than her base salary. It is money county officials don't believe Morales earned and say it is a lot more than they originally thought when they fired her Thursday night.
