“High command will decide on alliance”

There is no need for the Congress to take a stand on alliance at this juncture as there is still time for elections, says Thankgabalu CHENNAI: Any decision on alliance in Tamil Nadu for the Lok Sabha elections will be taken by the Congress high command, and the State unit will abide by it, Pradesh Congress Committee president K.V. Thankgabalu said here on Friday. As of now the Congress was part of the Democratic Progressive Alliance (DPA) led by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. There was no need for the party to take a stand on the alliance at this juncture as there was still time for the Lok Sabha elections.
