Atlantic Beach shooting victim identified

Thomas Holcomb, 37, who lived in North Myrtle Beach, was an employee of Thee Pawn Shoppe on 2905 U.S. 17 South, Edge said. Horry County Police said Holcomb was shot one or more times between the hours of 11 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. when they received a call. Two customers found the man behind the counter, Edge said. A young boy was outside the store looking at bicycles when he saw a man enter the store around the time of the shooting. He said he heard something that sounded like fireworks inside the store.
