Ghana: Inter Too Good to Turn Down - Muntari

Posted to the web 25 July 2008 Sulley Muntari says the chance to join Inter Milan was too good to turn down. The Ghanaian midfielder is undergoing medicals in Milan ahead of a 13 million pound move to the San Siro after only one season with Portsmouth in the English Premiership. Inter turned their attention to the 23-year old former Liberty Professionals player after failing in their bid to land Frank Lampard. For Muntari a deal will mean a return to Italy where he spent four years with Udinese after only one season in England. Muntari says quitting Portsmouth so soon was a difficult decision but insist he could not let the chance of Champions League football slip.
