HONOLULU - Doris Sullivan is telling a story about her son Billy. She is hopeful he will have an opportunity to fly F-16's or F-22's very soon for the Air Force, despite the fact that she still doesn't like handing Billy the keys to the family car. Billy is 24 years old and could be in charge of handling a $150 million piece of equipment. The Damien grad also had to take the Scholastic Aptitude Test seven times in order to make it into the Academy. The moral of Sullivan's story? Anything is possible if you work smart and know what it is going to take to achieve your dreams, and more importantly - how to get there. And for the 200-plus high school football players, their parents and coaches, the dreams today are for Hawaii's top prep prospects to earn a scholarship to pay their way to college.
