Pizarro rejects River rumours

Chelsea striker rules out South America switch Claudio Pizarro's agent has poured cold water on reports his client could leave Chelsea for Argentine giants River Plate. It has been mooted in some quarters that the Peruvian could move to River Plate for the Apertura tournament. Pizarro has struggled for playing time since moving to Chelsea from Bayern Munich last summer and it has been speculated the striker could be heading for the Stamford Bridge exit door. However, agent Carlos Delgado insists Pizarro is not considering a return to South America and wants to stay in Europe. "Someone was bored and released that crazy news.
