Body found near DOE compound on Orchard Mesa

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Mesa County sheriff's deputies are investigating the discovery of a body near a Department of Energy compound on Orchard Mesa. Mesa County sheriff's spokeswoman Heather Benjamin says deputies responded about 10:45 a.m. Thursday on a report that a man's body was seen between the Gunnison River and Union Pacific railroad tracks.
