Posted to the web 25 July 2008 Lisbon The president of Cape Verde, Pedro Pires, Thursday in Lisbon (Portugal), approached Angolan prime minister, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, over a cooperation and a symposium on Tarrafal - former colonial prison. The meeting took place on the fringes of the 7th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Portuguese Speaking Community (CPLP) taking place in Lisbon since Thursday. According to the Cape Verdean president, the meeting also served for the parties to discuss matters concerning the organisation of the Summit, the relations of political and economic cooperation and the situation in both countries.
