It would appear once again that Obama is taking credit for others work. For the record the membership of the Banking, Housing and Urban Affiars Committee is as follows: Democrats: Chris Dodd, Tim Johnson, Jack Reed, Charles Schumer, Evan Bayh, Tom Carper, Robert Menendez, Danial Akaka, Sherrod Brown, Robert P Casey, Jon Tester. Republicans: Richard Shelby, Robert Bennet, Wayne Allard, Michael Enzi, Chuck Hagel , Jim Bunning, Mike Crapo, Elizabeth Dole, Mel Martinez and Bob Corker. Nor does Obama sit on any sub-commitee..
