Hurt is to become a Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (Lipa) Companion along with songwriter Cathy Dennis and record producer Trevor Horn. The Companionship honour is awarded in recognition of contribution to the worlds of art and entertainment, and the prizes will be handed out at a ceremony in McCartney’s native city of Liverpool, England on Friday (25Jul08).
