BJP protests use of money in Tuesday's trust vote

Rajkot, Fri, 25 Jul 2008 ANI Rajkot, July 25 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party activists staged a protest here on Thursday accusing the Union government of using money power to help it survive the trust vote. They also staged a street play here, lampooning what they termed as 'wanton display of horse-trading'. "They have no concern about the opinion of the people and tried to save the government buying MP's in the parliament. SP general secretary Amar Singh tried to lure parliamentarians," said Ranjan Bhai, a BJP activist. The lawmakers of BJP had alleged bribery by the Congress-led UPA (United Progressive Alliance) government to win the Tuesday's trust vote.
