Sixth seed Andy Roddick is the latest high-profile casualty at the Rogers Cup after bowing out to Marin Cilic in the third round. Roddick, the 2003 champion, fell 4-6 6-4 4-6 to the 19-year-old Croat, who posted his fourth career top 10 victory in just under two hours. The American's departure follows that of world No.1 Roger Federer and 14th seed Fernando Gonzalez in the second round on Wednesday. Cilic will make his first career ATP Masters Series quarter-final appearance against Federer's conqueror, Frenchman Gilles Simon, who defeated Argentinean Jose Acasuso 6-3 6-4. The 23-year-old, who won his fourth career ATP title in Indianapolis last Sunday, saved seven break points against Acasuso before completing the rout in one hour and 37 minutes.
