From Friday Night Lights to Saturday Night Short Trackin’; ESR Heads to Berlin Raceway

DENVER, N.C. (July 23, 2008) – Eddie Sharp Racing turns its focus from the speedways to the short track this weekend as teammates Scott Speed, Justin Lofton, and Ken Butler, III head to Berlin Raceway for some fender-banging, good ol’ Saturday Night racing. Rookies Speed and Lofton will get their first taste of the 0.4-mile oval while teammate KBIII returns to a track where he started third and posted ninth-place finish in 2007. Geared up for another race under the lights, the ESR teams are ready to beat and bang for 200 laps. Fresh off their win at Kentucky Speedway, the No. 2 Red Bull team is looking forward to hitting Berlin Raceway. ESR has had success on short tracks such as Berlin.
