Bethel High graduate Chris Ellis from Virginia Tech signed Thursday with the Buffalo Bills, and former Virginia offensive tackle Branden Albert signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. Ellis, a third-rounder, signed a four-year contract, the day before Buffalo opens training camp in suburban Rochester, N.Y. Selected 72nd overall, Ellis is a defensive end who was an all-Atlantic Coast Conference first-team selection last season. He had 8 1/2 sacks as a senior. He finished with 22 collegiate sacks.
