Tarantino Intends to Screen Inglorious Bastards at Cannes in 2009

If you like the ugly and awesome universe in which director Quentin Tarantino’s visions take place, then his upcoming flick will, without a doubt, fulfill and surpass your expectations. The film, currently in pre-production, is titled Inglorious Bastards and is set to be all wrapped up for Cannes 2009. Like his previous feature film Kill Bill, Inglorious Bastards is to some extent an offshoot movie, influenced by The Dirty Dozen and Where Eagles Dare. It is a war film set during WWII and is about a team of U.S. soldiers who, at the point of execution, are offered a chance at redemption. Just to make it clear, this film is not a remake of the 1977 Bo Svenson movie also titled Inglorious Bastards.
