Race Report After the last two days of excitement our nerves needed a day off and today couldn’t really be describe as action packed, it was probably predictable. A nice break away of two riders that were unimportant to the overall as they were hours down, it couldn’t be better? For an easy day. At the Start This Morning “It’s far from over!” Those were the words of Cadel Evans this morning at the start. Today is not an easy day; from Bourg d’Oisans we have three hard climbs before the finish in Saint Etienne. The first is after 70 kilometers, the Col de Parmente (3rd cat), then the much steeper Croix de Montvieux (2nd cat) starts at 148 kilometers, the final climb is the more modest Côte de Sorbiers (4th cat), the summit of which is only 8.5 kilometers from the finish.
