Abuja Boulevard is an Innovation

Posted to the web 21 July 2008 Ibrahim Biu It is a human trait to resist changes including goodones like the planned Abuja boulevard which the FCT minister, Dr. Aliyu Modibbo Umar has put in motion the process of building. But I think the controversy over the issue is really unnecessary as it is diversionary. Already the Dr. Aliyu Modibbo-led administration has started discussing in earnest with relevant stakeholders on the way forward on how to actualize the project. If everything goes according to plans, most of the roads within the boulevard will hopefully start in December this year. The stakeholders, this reporter reliably learnt have been briefed on the importance of the project.
