New LPG system 'saves fuel, adds power' (AAP)

A new LPG fuel system for vehicles, boasting better consumption and more power, has become available in Australia. Australian LPG Warehouse says its new-generation liquid-injection gas system offers significant advances over the usual vapour sequential injection systems. Company co-director Hilbert Klaster said trials of the new European-developed Just Think Green (JTG) system returned a 10 per cent fuel saving over conventional LPG systems. The JTG system also provided more engine power. "Being cooler than petrol, liquid gas provides more volumetric efficiency in the cylinder and a denser charge - and this fuller combustion translates into more power," Mr Klaster said.
