Pawlenty buzz gets louder

John McCain's presidential campaign made an announcement about Tim Pawlenty late Wednesday night. Minnesota's governor, who has been doubling as the national campaign co-chairman for the Arizona senator, will hold a press conference in Bloomington Thursday ? to discuss McCain's energy plan. The announcement landed just before the 10:00 news, at the end of day filled with loud buzzing about Pawlenty's chances of being named McCain's running mate. Earlier in the day, CNN reported that a reliable Republican source was told by McCain that Republicans are "really going to like" Pawlenty. The implication was McCain had slipped and revealed his choice for the vice presidency.
