BY BOB RAISSMAN DAILY NEWS SPORTS WRITER Sipkin/News Fred Wilpon is happy with the way the Mets have been playing lately, but he couldn't rest easy after Tuesday night's loss to the Phillies. Fred Wilpon was watching Wednesday as his network, SportsNet New York, officially announced a new deal to be the home of Big East football and basketball. Did the new arrangement ease the pain caused by Tuesday night's devastating 8-6 loss to Philadelphia? "Nothing can take the sting of last night away," Wilpon said. "It hurts.
