Push For Votes At The Bingo Hall

A bingo hall and a bowling club are among the venues to be visited by candidates in the Glasgow East by-election in their final push for votes. Scottish Labour Party candidate Margaret Curran out in Glasgow Labour's Margaret Curran is defending a majority of 13,507 after the resignation on health grounds of MP David Marshall. The serving Member of the Scottish Parliament will be on the stump outside a bingo hall, addressing party members with a morning speech. She is not to be confused with Scottish Socialist Party candidate Frances Curran, who will play up the differences with her Labour counterpart by unveiling a Curran versus Curran poster.
