Edgardo Bauza, the coach of Ecuadorian side Liga Deportiva Universitaria, is desperate for Cristiano Ronaldo to join Real Madrid so his side do not have to face him when they take on Manchester United in the Club World Cup. Liga made it into the competition, which will be held in Japan in December, after winning the Copa Libertadores. Mexican side Pachuca and New Zealand's Waitakere United have also already secured qualification to the event.
