Sam Torrance, who will this week attempt to win his maiden major title in the veteran ranks when he lines up in the Senior Open, which begins tomorrow at Royal Troon, spoke yesterday of the impact Norman's performance at Royal Birkdale has had on hi m and his fellow players on the over-50s tour.
