Nadal claims rain-delayed victory

Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal returned to action with a hard-fought straight sets win over American Jesse Levine at the Toronto Masters. Rain delayed the second round games of Nadal, world number one Roger Federer and Britain's Andy Murray. When Nadal got on court he was given a test before overcoming Levine 6-4 6-2. Two-time Toronto winner Federer was to open against France's Gilles Simon, while British number one Murray will face Swedish veteran Thomas Johansson. A six-hour rain delay caused havoc for the players and forced the organisers to hastily reschedule matches. When the action began Nadal rallied from 4-1 down, breaking Levine four times in the 97-minute match.
