Noel Gourdin Releases Debut Cd 'after My Time'

By: Janine Coveney Singer and songwriter Noel Gourdin has released his debut album, After My Time, on Columbia Records this week. The Brockton, Massachusetts native has gained attention with his soulful vocals on the heartfelt single "The River." Gourdin co-wrote all 13 tracks on the album and collaborated with producers Raphael Saadiq, Dre & Vidal, Trackaddix, and Soundz. Inspired by classic soul artists like Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, and Sam Cooke, Gourdin says that he is interested in making timeless music. "I want people to look at my work and think, 'This is a real genuine dude.
