Grand Jury Charges Anger Family

– The family of the softball player who died from a single punch to the head says justice was not served. The man accused of delivering that punch was indicted on Tuesday, but the victim’s family does not believe the charges are harsh enough. A grand jury indicted Sean Sanders, 27, on charges of criminally negligent homicide and misdemeanor assault. Sanders was previous convicted of assault and served time in prison, so the maximum sentence he faces if convicted is 2 to 4 years in prison. Sanders is accused of punching Dan Andrews, 37, in the back of the head after a softball game on June 30. “What now, he gets out again and does it to somebody else?
