LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- The Bear River Health Department is moving to a four-day workweek. The Board of Health agreed this week to close its two buildings to the public on Fridays. On those days, the department won't provide immunization, clinics for sexually transmitted diseases or issue birth or death certificates. Lloyd Berentzen, the health department's director, says the switch isn't going to affect responses to emergency situations.
