Phoenix takes a cautious approach with brawler Daniel Carcillo

First off, in case you were unaware: Puck Daddy very much approves of Daniel Carcillo, winger for the Phoenix Coyotes. Carcillo had one of the most memorable performances of the 2007-08 season back in March against the Vancouver Canucks. That would be the game in which he scored Phoenix's only goal and tallied 21 penalty minutes: A fighting major, two roughing penalties, another for cross-checking and 10-minute misconduct for slamming the penalty box door. You just don't get that level of pest-ness anymore.He led the NHL in penalty minutes last season as a rookie with 324, a fact that's been quoted like gospel in stories about the RFA re-signing with Phoenix this week.
