Wednesday July 23, 9:59 am ET GLOUCESTER, MA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jul 23, 2008 -- For the third consecutive year, Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates, Inc. received the highest aggregate score in the VLSI Research annual survey of large semiconductor capital equipment makers. The results were based on 4,565 surveys collected from chip manufacturers representing 95% of worldwide chip production.
