Arnel Pineda-led Journey takes Vegas by storm

Thousands flocked to catch the sold-out Journey concert at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on July 18. Many, who came from all over North America and Canada to see Journey perform, said the show belonged to the group’s Filipino lead singer, Arnel Pineda. “We are big fans of Journey I know he was in the Zoo, and watched him on CBC, the CBC special,” said Journey fan Patrick Drake from Halifax, Canada. Bill Tate, another Canadian fan, said Pineda is extremely passionate and sings for his mother in Manila. Journey’s concert at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino is said to be the most sold-out event in Las Vegas and Filipinos were among those who made sure not to miss the concert headlined by their idol, Pineda.
