2 CPM leaders shot dead in W Bengal

BURDWAN (WB): Two local CPM leaders were shot dead by unidentified persons while they were returning home after attending a party meeting at Jagannathpur in Durgapur, police said on Wednesday. Farooq Hossain (42) and Sudhir Barui (45) were beaten up with iron rods and then shot dead at Kendua More at 11 pm on Tuesday night, police said, adding that they died on the spot.
