Which of the available options would you like to write in as your designated hitter? The guy batting .222? The one batting .225? How about the ones batting .210 or .172? Jim Riggleman doesn't have a lot of good options to choose from at the DH spot, essentially stuck with Jose Vidro, Miguel Cairo or whichever of his top two catchers -- Kenji Johjima or Jeff Clement -- isn't behind the plate. The best batting average among those players going into Tuesday's game was Cairo's .225. "I'm kind of using (the DH spot) just to kind of have some contact in that spot and maybe move some runners, hit and run, that kind of stuff," Riggleman said. "(To) get some at-bats for some guys....
