A Philadelphia man and a Johnstown woman were sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Johnstown on their convictions of violating narcotics laws. Maurice R. Cheatham, 23, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Kim Gibson to 10 years in prison and five years of supervised release. Kelly L. Huff, 21, was sentenced by Gibson to one year in prison and three years of supervised release. According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephanie L. Haines, from May 4, 2004, to Dec. 6, 2005, the pair conspired with other co-defendants to distribute and possess more than 13/4 ounces of crack cocaine and more than a pound of cocaine.
