EU space affairs ministers meet on policies, projects

The European ministers hoped to improve the EU system of Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES) in a bid to provide reliable data on climate change, the environment and natural disasters as well as offering a basis for the EU to make policies on environmental protection and take precautionary measures. PARIS, July 21 (Xinhua) -- European Union's space affairs ministers on Monday met at the spaceport of Kourou, French Guiana to discuss issues related to space policies and projects.
