Phil Mickelson and his wife, Amy, enjoy a light moment Tuesday during their appearance on Capitol Hill in Washington during a House Education Committee hearing on how partnerships between private business and the education community can bolster careers in math and science. WASHINGTON — Phil Mickelson testified before Congress on Tuesday, and Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings noted his visit was unique. "Normally, you don't see athletes testifying before Congress unless they're in trouble," said Spellings, who hosted Phil and his wife Amy at the Department of Education.
