Grand Jury Indicts Alleged Road Rage Shooter

Jurors: Parrish Used "Unreasonable Force" JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. -- A grand jury has indicted Yalanda Parrish on charges of criminal recklessness and aggravated battery. Watch The Story Last month, Parrish shot Wesley Mosier Jr. after an altercation on Highway 62. That grand jury found Parrish used "unreasonable" deadly force in the shooting and that Mosier wasn't without fault. It, however, declined to charge Mosier with a crime. Parrish told Jeffersonville police that Mosier approached her car at an intersection. She said she got scared and pulled out her gun in self-defense. Mosier's attorney said there is plenty of evidence to dispute that claim. He said the indictment sends two messages: "One, this isn't the Wild West," said Larry Wilder.
