Ranking the best fantasy football magazines

BY GEORGE SIPPLE • FREE PRESS SPORTS WRITER • July 21, 2008 Pro football training camps open next week and that means it’s time to start thinking about fantasy football. The majority of the fantasy football magazines are already in bookstores. Since nearly all magazines fall between the $6.99 to $9 price range, it can be hard to choose one. Most magazines include the following: cheat sheets, features, sleeper picks, projected busts, individual player profiles, team profiles, stats and strength of schedule ratings. I buy the mags solely as reading entertainment. It gives me something to pass the time in the summer months. By the time the season rolls around, most of the information in these magazines will be outdated.
