We first came here in 2002, after the park of vehicles to Yaounde was moved from here. We needed a place where we could station and place our office. We had written to the Douala City Council asking for space.. So as we sought for space, we found this place empty and decided to install here. And since then, we have been here without any problems with the council. But since the other truck drivers from douche municipal and ARNO came and joined us, the Douala City Council has started destroying some few rickety structures placed here.
