Batam (ANTARA News) - Two private individuals have offered a 1 million Singapore dollars reward for information which may lead to the capture of Mas Selamat Kastari, a fugitive in the past five months. Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng said at Parliament on Monday they offered the reward to those who give an information about the whereabouts the fugiitive, at home or abroad. The two private indivicuals, Wong said has submitted a proposal to the Singapore Minister of Home Affairs, but asked for anonymity, to prevent themselves as well as their family and business to become the target of vengeance. He told Parliament that the police cannot offer a reward for information on fugitives, involved crimes, or for assistance from the public.
