DETROIT_The Detroit Red Wings re-signed Swedish defenseman Jonathan Ericsson and American goaltender Jimmy Howard and to three-year contracts. Ericsson will earn $550,000 (?346,800) next season and Howard $600,000, according to the National Hockey League players' union.
