O'Reilly will stay in jail -- Rachel's family

THE family of murdered Rachel O'Reilly are confident her killer will remain behind bars as he launches an appeal against his conviction in the courts today. Wife-killer Joe O'Reilly is scheduled to appear before the Circuit Criminal Court in Dublin where a date will be fixed for his appeal hearing. However Rachel's father, Jim Callaly, last night said he believes the evidence was so strong in the original murder trial that O'Reilly has little chance of succeeding. Prefer "We don't think he has a hope at all. It's just a day out for him...we would just prefer it was all over and done with," he told the Irish Independent.
