Sox great says 'it might be better than Hall of Fame' BY TONI GINNETTI tginnetti@suntimes.com Harold Baines laughed while talking about how White Sox chairman Jerry Reinsdorf, who often calls Baines his favorite player, traded him three times. But there were tears as the quiet, beloved Sox great spoke of his gratitude and love for family, fans and the Sox organization as a bronze statue of him was unveiled Sunday on the right-field concourse at U.S. Cellular Field. ''I'm grateful, honored,'' Baines said before a pregame ceremony that drew former teammates Carlton Fisk, Robin Ventura and Ron Kittle and former general manager Roland Hemond, the man who drafted him.
