Updated: July 21, 2008, 3:22 AM EST Comment The Nets have filled their most glaring vacancy this summer after agreeing in principle to a sign-and-trade deal with the Magic for free-agent Keyon Dooling, according to a report by the Newark Star-Ledger. The team plans to acquire Dooling, an eight-year veteran, by using a $3.3 million trade exception that it obtained from the Jason Kidd trade last February. That exception will now be transferred to Orlando, who will prepare a two-year contract that gives Dooling a $3.3 million salary next year and a $3.5 million salary for 2009-10, with a partially guaranteed third season that will pay the 6-foot-3 guard a pittance.
