USA orders pilots and renews "In Plain Sight"

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - The CIA, the operating room and the morgue will serve as settings for three drama pilots greenlit by USA, the network said Sunday. The three new pilots, all with working titles: -- "Covert Affairs," in which a CIA linguist is partnered with her ex-boyfriend. -- "Operating Instructions," about an inner-city surgeon home from Iraq. Conan O'Brien is an executive producer. -- "Stiffs," with a single father and body transporter for a morgue who solves crimes with his brother, a medical examiner. Additionally, USA has renewed its new summer series "In Plain Sight" for a second season. Mary McCormack stars as a U.S. marshal in the witness protection program.
